Backcountry Safety is a company dedicated to wildlife stewardship using hazard assessment and diversionary techniques to prevent attacks by predatory wildlife. Backcountry Safety provides trained and experienced Wildlife Monitors to provide a safe working environment for oil and gas pipeline workers while in the field. Our Wildlife Monitors wear identification on their safety clothing.
Balancing operational needs with environmental concerns can be difficult at times. The environmental lobby is against pipelines, one of their arguments is that the wildlife in the area is harmed.
